Lynn Thorndike

Lynn Thorndike (1882-1965) a fost un istoric american, doctor in istorie medievala si alchimie.

A studiat istoria medievala la Columbia University  unde a fost si profesor pana in 1950. In 1957, Thorndike a primit medalia Sarton din partea Societatii de Istoria Stiintei. A fost presedinte al American Historical Association.
