AMIR ALEXANDER (nascut in 1963) este un istoric american care studiaza raporturile dintre matematica, societate si cultura. Preda istoria la Universitatea din California, Los Angeles.

 

A mai publicat Geometrical Landscapes: The Voyages of Discovery and the Transformation of Mathematical Practice (2002) si Duel at Dawn: Heroes, Martyrs, and the Rise of Modern Mathematics (2010).
